  • Account & Contact Info: Full name, email address, and phone/WhatsApp number for ticket delivery.
  • Transaction Details: Purchased ticket tier, event name, quantity, transaction timestamp, and order reference ID.
  • Organizer Banking Details: Bank account numbers and verified settlement details required for merchant payouts.
  • Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and diagnostic crash logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data for lawful purposes including:

  • Generating and delivering cryptographically signed QR ticket passes.
  • Facilitating rapid door check-in validation for event organizers and security staff.
  • Processing secure payments, escrow holdings, and organizer bank disbursements.
  • Detecting and preventing ticket scalping, duplicate entries, and payment fraud.
  • Sending critical event updates (e.g. venue changes or schedule notifications).

3. Payment Tokenization & Security Standards

Tixdoor does never store raw credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank PINs on our servers. All transactions are processed through tokenized, certified payment gateways (including Paystack, Flutterwave, and OPay) with end-to-end TLS 1.3 encryption.

4. Information Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party advertisers. We share information only under the following strictly defined conditions:

  • Event Organizers: Organizers receive attendee names, ticket tiers, and check-in statuses solely to manage entry and guest logistics for their specific event.
  • Payment & Infrastructure Providers: Certified cloud infrastructure and payment processors required to deliver the core service.
  • Legal Obligations: When strictly required by law, court subpoena, or regulatory authority.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

Tixdoor uses essential cookies and browser LocalStorage to maintain your authentication session, cache offline ticket passes, and remember your interface preferences (e.g. dark theme and filter views). You can manage cookie preferences through your web browser settings.

6. Data Retention & International Transfers

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill ticket delivery, facilitate tax/accounting auditing requirements, and resolve potential disputes. We implement technical and organizational measures ensuring data transfers comply with applicable data protection legislation (including NDPA, GDPR, and CCPA).

7. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you possess the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal information Tixdoor holds about you.
